      What information do we process when you apply on our Site?

      When you apply for our online offers, NOOUS processes, in particular:

      • Data relating to your academic and professional background and experience (CV, cover letter, training, institution, type of diploma, date of diploma acquisition);
      • Data available from your LinkedIn account;
      • Financial data (salary expectations);
      • Data relating to your preferences (availability date, interest in job opportunities in another region).

      Each of these personal data items is strictly necessary for achieving the stated objectives.

      No sensitive data under Article 9 of the GDPR is collected.

        11. Categories of data recipients

        Who accesses the data we collect when you browse our Site?

        When you browse our Site, authorized individuals who may access the information include:

        • Authorized personnel from our Marketing, Communication, and Sales departments for sending communications (service offers, newsletters, events) ;
        • Authorized personnel from NOOUS involved in the recruitment process (including the recruitment department, future managers) ;
        • NOOUS employees whom you contact via online forms;
        • Our suppliers, partners, and service providers as needed.

          12. Data retention periods

          How long do we retain the data we collect when you browse our Sites?

          • Personal data stored by cookies and other trackers are retained for a period not exceeding what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed, up to a maximum of 13 months. For more information, you can consult our cookie policy.
          • Regarding recruitment data, you may request the deletion of your data at any time. In all cases, personal data is retained for two years after the last contact with the candidate if the candidate has not requested the deletion of their data.
          • Personal data collected for sending communications (service offers, newsletters, events) are retained until you withdraw your consent or for three years from your last contact with NOOUS. If you object to receiving our communications, we retain a record of your choice to respect it.

          NOOUS retains users’ personal data only for the period strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

          However, certain data may be retained for a longer period when required by law or when such retention is necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

          At the end of the applicable retention periods, personal data is permanently and securely deleted, in accordance with NOOUS‘s internal policies and current information security standards.

          It is expressly stated that once these deadlines have expired and the data has been deleted, its recovery is technically impossible. NOOUS will therefore no longer be able to favorably respond to a request for communication or restitution concerning this data.

          13. Data transfers outside the EEA

          Is your personal data transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA)?

          Personal data processed by our website is exclusively hosted on servers located within the European Union.

          In cases where certain service providers are located outside the EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with Article 46 of the GDPR.

          • Right to erasure or “right to be forgotten” (Art. 17 of the GDPR)

          You may ask us to temporarily “freeze” the use of some of your personal data.

          • Right to data portability (Art. 20 of the GDPR)

          You have the possibility to retrieve part of your data in an open, interoperable format so that you can easily transmit it to a third party of your choice, for reuse for other purposes.

          • Right to object (Art. 21 of the GDPR)

          You may object at any time to NOOUS using some of your data.

          • Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7 of the GDPR)

          • Right relating to “digital death” (Art. 85 of the Data Protection Act)

          17. Exercising Your Rights

          How to exercise your rights?

          You can exercise your rights and send us a complaint by email to dpo@noous.co.

          For a request to be considered, it is imperative that it be made directly by you to dpo@noous.co. Any request not made in this manner cannot be processed.

          This address will also be useful if you have any questions or comments regarding this privacy policy.

          From the date of receipt of your request to exercise your right, NOOUS has a one-month period to respond. This period may be extended by two months, given the complexity and number of requests received. In any event, we will inform you of this extension and the reasons for the delay within one month of receiving the request. When making your request, proof of identity will be required to ensure the security and confidentiality of your data.

          NOOUS may reject your request to exercise your right in cases provided for by the regulation (inapplicable right, respect for third-party rights, respect for a confidentiality obligation, etc.) or in the absence of proof of identity. In this case, we will inform you of the reason for our refusal.

          Finally, NOOUS reserves the right not to respond to requests that are manifestly abusive, particularly by their number, their repetitive or systematic nature.

          In any event, only the latest published version of the Privacy Policy is authoritative and enforceable against NOOUS and the users of the Site.
